Just before the summer holidays you can enjoy Summer Science! A festival for you and your friends, fellow students and colleagues. Come and wander through the beautiful Botanic Gardens, and listen to exciting talks and live music by Dekoor Close Harmony. Entrance is free.
During the festival you have plenty of time to enjoy and explore the Botanic Gardens with a drink in hand. Discover current research and inspiring stories from our 12 researchers who will take the stage, with stories from plants to ocean currents and from immunotherapy to the adverse effects of job loss. After each science talk, you have the opportunity to ask all of your questions and interact with the researcher.
In addition, learn more about the research taking place in different parts of the Botanic Gardens and enjoy the musical talents of Dekoor Close Harmony and Pierre & Les Optimistes.
Summer Science starts at 19:00 and ends at 22:30 with a vibrant performance by Dekoor Close Harmony. Hungry? During the festival you can buy snacks and drinks from Tuincafé Botanica.
