Giro d’Utrecht Turns Utrecht Science Park Pink on May 19
Since 2010, the Giro d’Utrecht has been a fixture in Utrecht. Every year, the city turns pink to commemorate the start of that year's Giro d’Italia. And this year, you have the opportunity to participate in this delightful cycling tour that kicks off at the rainbow bike path at Utrecht Science Park.
On Sunday 19 May 2024, the Utrecht Science Park will turn the spotlight on sports. Not only will thousands of people run a distance during the Utrecht Marathon, cycling fans will also make their way through Utrecht during Giro d'Utrecht with start and finish at the Utrecht Science Park.
New Routes, New Adventures
The organisers are currently working hard again to provide everyone with an unforgettable cycling experience. This year's Giro d'Utrecht 2024 will unveil an all-new set of routes, featuring picturesque views, challenging routes and breathtaking landscapes. Whether you are a seasoned cyclist or just starting out on your cycling adventure, there is something for everyone.
Distances for everyone
One of this year's exciting innovations is the diversity of distances offered. The Giro d'Utrecht 2024 invites participants to choose their own challenge with distances of 70 km, 110 km and 150 km. For the youngest cycling enthusiasts, we will also organise a free fat tyre race, where children can enjoy their own unique cycling adventure.
