A hidden spot at Utrecht Science Park

This lovely, hidden spot at Utrecht Science Park is a fully-renovated farm that now serves as a childcare facility. Day care for children has been offered at this location for over 20 years, previously under the name ‘the Blue Frog’ and now under the auspices of Partou. The rooms for each group are light-filled and spacious. They have been designed with modern furnishings and primarily natural materials have been used. The large gardens make this childcare location unique in the Utrecht region.

With seven groups, Partou Toulouselaan has room for 88 children each day. From 7:30 to 18:30, many employees of companies at USP entrust their children to our care. We are particularly popular with employees of the UMC and Utrecht University.

At the Toulouselaan location, we work with different age groups: 0-2 years / 0-4 years / 2-4 years. There are advantages to each type of group and a preference for a specific group can be quite a personal matter. Within each group, attention is paid to personal and social development. Experiential learning is a key priority. The children are given daily opportunities to explore in the gardens. And there is also plenty of space indoors for active play, arts and crafts, making music and so on. Our team of over 20 pedagogical staff members is ready and waiting to provide the children with new adventures each and every day!
