Cathryn Tonne

Prof. Cathryn Tonne is a renowned environmental epidemiologist and currently affiliated with ISGlobal. At the 389th Dies Natalis, Tonne will receive an honorary doctorate for her pioneering work on the additional health benefits of reducing air pollution and mitigating climate change. Her research has made a major contribution to the study of indoor and outdoor air pollution, especially in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), where the impacts are greatest.
