Gala of Water - HU x New Scientist
More than 70 percent of our planet's surface consists of water. Living without it is impossible: we drink water, cook with it, swim in it and wash with it. But how is our water actually doing? Is there enough water available for everyone? And to what extent is water a serious threat?
Several scientists will give an insight into their fascinating research. Expect an evening full of wonder about our first necessity of life: water. The Gala of Water is an initiative of HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and New Scientist, the leading international magazine on science and technology. Jim Jansen will present the evening and a special role will be played by photographer Kadir van Lohuizen and musician Saartje Van Camp.
