Artificial Intelligence for Bio-oriented Imaging Analysis Conference
The second edition of the Artificial Intelligence for Bio-oriented Imaging Analysis (AIBIA) Conference at TivoliVredenburg in Utrecht is on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. This conference is initiated by the Utrecht Life Science Thematic Community Image Science, and its primary goal is to unite academic researchers who work on this topic, promoting collaboration within the Utrecht campus community. The focus will be on research and applications of Artificial Intelligence techniques in a broad spectrum of Imaging related Life Sciences research, from microscopy in fundamental biology to medical imaging in a clinical setting.

Do you ever take a walk during a work or study day? You definitely should, because walking works! Walking makes you fitter, builds up your energy and makes you work more effectively. From 23 September, the WorkWalk will be launched. Walk in and around the Utrecht Science Park during your break, or during a meeting. Three routes have been mapped out and provided with clear signs, so you can easily walk during your work or study day.

On April 15, 2025, Utrecht University will host the Water Quality Matters – An Interdisciplinary System Perspective symposium at the Victor J. Koningsberger building. This event, organized under the university’s Pathways to Sustainability strategic theme, will bring together scientists and stakeholders to address global water quality challenges from both scientific and policy perspectives. Through keynote speeches, thematic discussions, and panel sessions, participants will explore solutions for ensuring sufficient water of suitable quality for society and ecosystems.
