Informational meeting start construction International School utrecht
International School Utrecht (ISU) is growing and will therefore get a permanent school building on Cambridgelaan in the Utrecht Science Park (USP) near HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht. Contractor Van Wijnen and the municipality of Utrecht are organising an information afternoon on Wednesday 27 November to tell you more about the construction, the school and to share the planning with you.
Informational meeting
Construction of International School Utrecht will start in December 2024. During the information session, information will be shared about the construction, design, residents, planning, etc.
Practical information
Date & time: Wednesday 27 November 2024, walk-in at 4pm, start 4:30pm.
Location: Grand Café LIVING, Weg tot de Wetenschap 400, Utrecht.

Work in the first six months
During the first six months, from December 2024 to summer 2025, construction site will be set up, the ground will be finished where the car park will be, the piles for the foundation will be placed and the car park will be built.
To ensure that construction traffic travels as safely as possible through the district, truck drivers use a special Construction Route app. In it, drivers are given (in several languages) the agreed route across the USP to the construction site. This includes points of interest such as cycle paths.T he route can be adjusted if there are events or other construction work that needs to be taken into account. The contractor will ensure that the roads remain tidy.
General planning for new ISU building
December 2024: Setting up construction site and ground works
January 2025: Start of construction
March 2025: Construction of car park
August 2025: Start of construction of high-rise building
Early 2027: Building completion by contractor
2027: Furnish building by ISU and construct playing fields. Move ISU to new building.
